Pokemon GO New Move Abilities Arriving in February 2024, What is Their Significance?

Well, well, well. Something new is brewing in the Pokemon GO world, which could change the gameplay’s whole course.

Since Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia were “silently” announced, there has been some buzz among Trainers about what these two Pokemon can do and bring to the game.

During the upcoming Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh, we will see both of these Pokemon, with special moves, and they are Charged Attack Roar of Time, and Charged Attack Spacial Rend. Now, Roar of Time will provide Trainers with a special ability to pause the timer of several Premium Items, while Spacial Rend will double the distance of spawns.

These are called Abilities, and from what we know, an Ability is a game mechanic that provides some kind of an effect in a battle or the overworld. A Pokemon (not all of them) can have only one Ability at a time, and not each of them is beneficial. The Pokemon that do have multiple of these, they usually have two normal Abilities, and one Hidden Ability. As one may think, a normal Ability is the one Trainers can see if they encounter the Pokemon in the wild, while the Hidden Ability is thought of it being quite rare, and it can require some type of a special encounter.

This is a lot to take in right now, but we will see how the whole thing will play out once it gets released in February 2024. We do hope that everything will be alright, especially since it will be a new and fun feature.
