Exclusive Pokemon Go Timed Research at the Empire State Building on February 27, 2024

The surprises never stop in the Pokemon world, and we hope they never do.

It has been officially announced that in celebrations of the upcoming Pokemon Day 2024 (February 27, 2024), there will be a collaboration between The Pokemon Company International, The Toy Foundation and the Empire State Building. From this collaboration, there will be many surprises coming along, and among those surprises, there is a little something-something for our beloved Trainers. Besides illuminating the iconic Empire State Building, a historical skyscraper located in New York, in the lights of the Pokemon logo, which is yellow and blue, it has been declared that there will be a Timed Research available for all Trainers in Pokemon Go (at least the ones that are going to be in New York).

The Trainers that will visit the Empire State Building on February 27, 2024, no matter the time, can complete exclusive Timed Research tasks, and the rewards for completing it will be awesome. Besides that, there will be additional themed PokeStops located near the Empire State Building.

Pokemon Go Empire State Building Timed Research rewards

  • Incense
  • Lure Modules
  • Encounter with Pikachu wearing a party hat

If you decide to use any Lure module on the PokeStops, you will be having an increased chance of attracting a Pokemon we rarely see in the game, and that Pokemon is the Symbol Pokemon known as Unown. Wow, I really didn’t expect to see this.

Well Trainers, if you haven’t planned a New York trip, now is the time to do so. You will do some sightseeing, and catch a Pokemon that we all are searching for, and get some rewards that will come in handy when playing Pokemon Go.

What do you think about this partnership? Let’s talk in the comments below.
