Pokemon Go Enamorous Raid Day was a Total Miss

Trainers, the Elite Raids featuring Incarnate Forme Enamorus are finally over, and we have to tell you that this was a total mistake by Niantic and Pokemon Go to release an event in the middle of the workweek.

Niantic and Pokemon Go celebrated Valentine’s Day with a new special-limited time event Elite Raid Day and a new Pokemon that symbolizes love with its appearance, Incarnate Forme Enamorus.

This event was a big miss, and now we’re going to explain why.

We would like to know who allowed this event to happen. Most of the players were at work at the time, and could not participate in the event. Some dropped out of work during the break, just to battle, defeat, and eventually catch Incarnate Forme Enamorus, but failed. Why? Because Niantic and Pokemon Go wanted to make Incarnate Forme Enamorus really exclusive by lowering its catch rate.

Also, let’s not forget to mention rural areas. Some players have had to drive to major cities to participate in the Elite Raid, only to return home empty-handed.

It has never been clear to us, why hold an in-person event, with a special Pokemon, which is only available for a limited time, just to reduce spawn and catch rates.

This was a free event, but that doesn’t mean anything. It seems we can only get the new Pokemon only if we spend a penny. Not cool Niantic, not cool at all.

How was your experience during Enamorus Elite Raid Day?

  1. This sucked. No question. I left the game for 2 years and just started playing again recently. There are a couple of things I can’t stand that haven’t been fixed. But, I like some of the things they are doing. But, this was the worst. We could only find one raid out of at least 50 gyms and no one got the pokemon. I don’t think I will playing for very much longer!!

  2. It was awful. I could t leave work to catch it for my boys. The one time I was close enough to try to participate there were no others to join the EAID party, and I had no shot of beating it.
