Pokemon Go Raid Hours February 2024 featuring Mega Latios

Another month, another Wednesday, another event that we can’t wait to begin in Pokemon Go.

The event in question is called Raid Hours, and it is a unique chance (or multiple) to try and catch a rare Pokemon such as a Legendary Pokemon, or a Mega Pokemon that is not often seen in the game. As usual, Raid Hours take place on a Wednesday, each month, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and each eligible Gym holds a Five-Star Raid Battle that all Trainers can participate in (as long as you have the suitable Raid Pass).

On February 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Trainers will have the chance to battle against Mega Latios, and as a plus, you may encounter Shiny Latios afterward. That is if you happen to defeat it.

We make sure here that you will indeed defeat Mega Latios. For that matter, we decided to create a little list of Mega Latios weaknesses, best counters and movesets that might help you get that win.

Mega Latios weaknesses

  • Bug-type attacks
  • Dark-type attacks
  • Dragon-type attacks
  • Fairy-type attacks
  • Ghost-type attacks
  • Ice-type attacks

Mega Latios best counters

  • Mega Rayquaza – Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Mega Tyranitar – Bite and Wildbolt Storm
  • Mega Garchomp – Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow Tyranitar – Bite and Wildbolt Storm
  • Mega Gardevoir – Charm and Dazzling Gleam
  • Mega Salamence – Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Mega Latios – Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw
  • Mega Latias – Dragon Breath and Outrage
  • Mega Houndoom – Snarl and Foul Play
  • Tyranitar – Bite and Wildbolt Storm

Given that the Raid Hour Pokemon is a Mega Pokemon, please keep in mind that this is only a temporary state of the Pokemon, and when you encounter it after a battle, you will encounter the non-Mega form.

If you want to have a Mega Pokemon, you have to have the appropriate Mega Energy for that Pokemon.
