Pokemon Go Shiny Rotom Odds and How to Catch it

Trainers, Go Tour 2024 brings new shiny forms, and to our surprise, we now have a chance to catch Shiny Rotom for the first time. The biggest event of the year has started and as usual, the internet is flooded with pictures of new Pokemon, new shiny Pokemon, Research quests, and much more.

The first part of the Go Tour 2024 is the live event, which starts today, February 17, and ends tomorrow, February 18. But you don’t have to pay a ticket to enjoy some things, such as getting Rotom. You just need to enter one code and voila, you will get a new Timed Research featuring Rotom. Just an FYI, you need to catch not 1, not 10, but 30 Sinnoh Pokemon first.

Catching 30 Sinnoh Pokemon during a Sinnoh event is very easy because Niantic and Pokemon Go have increased the spawn rates of these Pokemon, and you can find them everywhere around you.

Let’s see how to catch Rotom, and what are the chances of catching his shiny form.

To catch Rotom, you must first have the code (the code is written below). Once you have the code, go to the Pokemon Go offer redemption website, and type it here. Now, please make sure to write the code correctly. The 0 in the code is a number, zero, not the letter O. We recommend copying the code below.

Once you claim the code, the Ghost in the Machine Timed Research can be found under the ‘Events Tab.’ Now, all you need to do is catch 30 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region. After completing the Timed Research, a new encounter screen will pop up, and if you are lucky, you may end up catching Shiny Rotom.

Shiny Rotom is available in the game, and you have a chance to catch it. The odds for Shiny Rotom are not very bright, but persistence always pays off.

According to reports, the chances of encountering and catching Shiny Rotom are around 1 in 250, or should I say, 1 in impossible. After all, you have to be very lucky to get the Shiny Rotom.

The Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh just started, and we expect to see more surprises throughout the event.
