Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh LA Attendees Still Await Compensation for Event Issues

Trainers, the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh event in LA wasn’t exactly the brightest, and those who attended are still waiting for some kind of compensation from Niantic. Unfortunately, they still haven’t acknowledged these issues, let alone consider some kind of compensation.

Pokemon Go players who attended this event faced a series of issues. When we look at some of the issues shared online, we have to agree with the community that it would be more than reasonable, for all those who attended to receive compensation.

The Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh Global is upon us, and we wouldn’t want to face these, or worse, mistakes from the live event.

Here are just some of the issues shared on TSR:

  • Early raid participants on Friday initially didn’t receive bonus XL candy, which was later fixed.
  • On Saturday, players missed out on the bonus Rotom Research, while on Sunday players received two. Saturday players received only one.
  • Routes were disabled at the Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday due to long lines.

Players also discuss that all the add-ons offered for Go Tour Sinnoh in LA cannot be compared to those of the Las Vegas event during the Hoenn event. Here we are talking about the options they offered with a surcharge, Raid Lover, Egg-thusiast, and the Citywide experience. Nothing happened as explained in their announcement, and in the end, it turned out that the players who bought these add-ons did not get anything special.

So let’s ask the rest of you who were present at the event. Have you faced these problems and agree with us that there must be some kind of compensation? Have you faced the same problems, or maybe noticed a different problem? We’d love to discuss this topic with you, so feel free to leave a comment below.
