Pokemon Go What happened with Skiddo and Shiny Skiddo Global Release?

Trainers, do you remember the first City Safari in Pokemon Go? If yes, then you’ll definitely remember the City Safari in Seoul, South Korea, and Skiddo’s debut. What happened with Skiddo? Where is it? Is it locked behind City Safari events? Let’s find out.

Skiddo, Gogoat, and their Shiny forms first appeared in Pokemon Go for the City Safari in Seoul, South Korea. Skiddo was marked as a Special Pokemon, allowing participants to catch it in the wild or after hatching 7 km Eggs.

Skiddo appeared exclusively for this event and has not been seen since. Whether Skiddo ‘transferred itself to the Professor,’ I guess we’ll never know what happened with this Pokemon.

Niantic and Pokemon Go have confirmed that players around the world will also get a chance to catch this Pokemon at a later date. When is that ‘at a later date?’ It has been almost 4 months since his first appearance, and there is no sign of Skiddo.

Skiddo, Gogoat, and their Shiny forms would be great harbingers of spring, so here’s a great idea for their next event.

We can only hope that we, the players, still get a chance to catch it at some point. ‘At a later date,’ I guess?

NOTE: Skiddo was later part of another City Safari event in Barcelona and Mexico City. The next City Safari event is planned for March 2024 in Tainan, Taiwan, and Skiddo is one of the spawns.
