Pokemon Go Weather Week Field Research and Collection Challenges

Trainers, the Weather Week has started in Pokemon Go, and we now have a chance to complete the new Field Research and Collection Challenges, and win good prizes, and encounter different Pokemon.

Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating the debut of Shiny Castform with a new, special Weather Week event. This event starts on March 14 at 10 am local time and will run through March 18, until 8 pm local time.

During this event, Pokemon Go players can enjoy exclusive bonuses, catch various weather-related Pokemon, and complete the new set of Field Research and Collection Challenges.

The Field Research tasks and the Collection Challenges will not be an obstacle for you, and we believe you can complete them in no time. There are only two new Field Research tasks and 9 different Pokemon we must catch to complete the Collection Challenges.

One of the Collection Challenges requires players to catch all Castform forms. You can always use Lures to attract Pokemon, so if you want to catch let’s say the Snowy Castform, you might want to use that Glacier Lure you’ve been keeping for a while. The same goes for the other Castform forms.

That said, let’s take a look at the Field Research tasks and the Collection Challenge below.

Weather Week Field Research Tasks and Rewards

  • Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost:  Paras, Drifloon, Helioptile, and Amaura
  • Catch 7 Pokemon with Weather Boost: 750 Stardust
