DayZ is getting a second expansion named Frostline

Bohemia Interactive announced the development of DayZ Frostline. This expansion will be the second expansion for their popular survival game. The expansion will launch this Fall, and is supposed to redefine the survival experience by giving players an opportunity to explore the fresh and snowy landscapes of the Sakhal archipelago.

Described as a winter wonderland of danger and mystery the territory spans over 80 km² of snow-covered terrain. From dense forests to expansive frozen lakes, each setting in this environment promises a new, solid battleground for players who will be traversing through the forests.

The first DayZ expansion was Livonia, which was released back in 2022. It was about time we see a new terrain by the developer, and this time around, we’re talking about quite a big one.
