Pokémon GO PokéAK Gigantamax Release Theory, Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise may be the First

I have some gigantic news, dear Trainers. I mean big, big news that I hope you will like.

It has been leaked that Pokémon GO will soon get a new kind of Pokémon, and that is Gigantamax Pokémon. For those who don’t have an idea, these Gigantamax Pokémon are basically large versions of the regular Pokémon but with more HP when it comes to battles. Not every Pokémon has a Gigantamax form though, so there are only a few of them. By changing its size, these Pokémon distort space, thus affecting the world around them.

PokéAK, our beloved content creator shared this information, and according to his leaker, the whole Gigantamaxing system is going to be locked behind an MP system, a type of energy that might be used to go up against the Gigantamax Pokémon. You will be getting a certain amount of that energy, and after you’ve used up the MP, you will not be able to go up against Gigantamax Pokémon anymore, unless you purchase more of that.

It is just a guess, and I guess that the Gigantamax Pokémon will be making their debut through Gigantamax Raids. PokéAK also says that there might be Gigantamax Raids, just like there are regular Raids, and this one will have its own system, with its dedicated Raid Pass.

The Gigantamax Pokémon that are supposedly used for a debut will be Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard and others. Plus, since Gigantamax Pokémon are heavily linked to the Galar region, we should be expecting more of the Galar Pokémon to come our way.

At the moment, there isn’t a precise date when this new system will come. Maybe it will be this year, but maybe it will be next year. Nobody knows yet. I do hope that we can Gigantamax the Pokémon we already have in our PokéDex.

Please keep in mind that this is a leak, and nothing is confirmed at the moment of writing.
