Singularity 6 in another round of layoffs, 36 employers are being relieved of their jobs

The economic field right now is very, very tough, and only a few will keep floating after this period ends. I do hope that it will end though.

Singularity 6, famously known for its game named Palia, went through a series of layoffs in April, where they let go of 49 employees. It is not easy to get somebody fired, but if a company can’t sustain it, restructuring must be done. As it is being reported, the company is focused on supporting Palia and trying to stay in the market long-term, which is why they needed to do the inevitable.

To remind ourselves a little bit, Palia is a life simulation multiplayer online game, and it first launched on Nintendo Switch in December 2023. Later on, in March, Palia came to Steam and saw big success.

However, that doesn’t mean that a company isn’t going through a rough patch. I think that every one of us is feeling the consequences, and we must stay strong and sail through.
