The Rogue Prince of Persia is launching in Steam Early Access on May 27

The release of The Rogue Prince of Persia on Steam on May 27 looks quite exciting. The game will release in Early access, and it reimagines the iconic platforming and combat of the original series.

You, as a player will be able to hop in the feet of the Prince, who’s on a roll to save Persia from a Hun, dark-magic filled invasion. The installment really makes it stand out on its roguelite structure, which actually challenges players to upgrade themselves with each run through the procedurally generated levels of the capital city. Like, procedurally generated levels is definitely what everyone should be excited about.

The game corresponds with fluid movement and combat mechanics that are going to feel fresh and exciting for players. Imagine doing a perfect wall-run or dodging while exploring hidden areas… As with every other, the game is not just about fighting, but also about mastering the surroundings and finding out secrets.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
