Among Us: All-Time Peak Reaches 388,385 Concurrent Players on Steam, a brand new milestone to celebrate

Among Us, the deception game released back in 2018 with an average of 8k players during its prime time seems to be booming nowadays. Two years after its launch, Among Us managed to reinstate its players number thanks to the amazingly vast reach throughout these couple of weeks. According to steamcharts.com, Among Us reached a new all-time peak of 388,385 concurrent players, breaking the previous number of 306,128 concurrent players on Steam.

Understandingly, the reason for this success is the major Among Us sessions on Twitch, in which popular streamers take part in rough conversations and trickeries, usually created by the two impostors ready to go on a killing spree. For an indie title, it definitely reached its potential, with the Twitch viewer numbers growing as well.

After its breakthrough and promotion by multiple popular streamers on Twitch, Among Us has found its spot among the most played games on Steam. For this caliber game, the price makes it very accessible to those with a shallow pocket. It costs only $4,99, which undoubtedly had its contribution to the numbers over the weekend. The game also supports a cross-platform play, which is among its more robust features.

Among Us is also the reason why people shouldn’t give up in life. A hard work put into a project such as this one may not always be pleasing for the developer itself, but giving up would make this project drown without knowing its potential. This is the only reason we genuinely support Among Us, as we, as many others find a slight reflection in the game’s success.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
