Set in the middle of the pyramids, oases, and cultural upheaval of Ancient Egypt, Assassin’s Creed Origins is the first one in the franchise to happen earlier than its predecessors.
Combat, exploration, and the way the missions are structured all have been overhauled and reinvented. This creates an experience that is representing a new beginning for the series. Assassin’s Creed Origins is a world of strange technologies, it also has a dose of mystery and freedom.
Assassin’s Creed Origins was announced at E3 2017. The guests at the even had the chance to play the first demo and explore the open world of Egypt.
The demo shows the players get loose in the region of Faiyum, which is an area in a property of Lake Moeris, a vast glittering place full of water that has naval activity. The game has many opportunities for players to interact with the open world.
There was a talk with the Game Director Ashraf Ismail about these opportunities, about the reason why they chose the Faiyum area to show off. He was also asked about everyone’s most-liked new companion, the eagle Senu. Here is the Faiyum demo and Q&A from Chris Watters to Ashraf Ismail.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released for the launch of Xbox One X and on Oct. 27 for Xbox One, PS4, PS4 Pro and PC.
