Battlefield V’s Chapter 1: Overture being delayed for another date

It’s not only the launch date that was postponed, but the updates are also coming with the same treatment. EA has stated that the Battlefield V’s Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture update will be at an unknown date. However, it is supposed to be in the near future.

According to the developers, at its current state, the update would cause more issues in the game than fixing or adding any new content. This has been announced on the official Battlefield V’s Twitter Profile.

The team has discovered an issue with the Chapter 1: Overture update. Rather than create issues in the game, we’re holding the update for the time being. We don’t anticipate a long delay and we’ll be back with more news tomorrow or as soon as we have it.

Below you take a look at the original tweet.

Apparently, after a series of unpleasant situations, we can all agree that EA has quite a bit of struggle with its most recent title. Nevertheless, the company notices a great fall since its Star Wars: Battlefront II, and according to its looks, it appears that they have even more difficulties getting on the right path again.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
