Battlefield V’s Chapter One: Overture update to add new map and expand the Single-Player story

According to a recent dev vlog, Battlefield V’s next update is confirmed to include a new map and a content that will enhance the game’s client, and also add a new content to envelop a better gameplay experience. The new update is coming on December 4, which is tomorrow, and it will most likely be available to everyone using the free-to-play period.

Tides of War is scheduled to expand the gameplay and the world within Battlefield V. This should also count as an exciting content since the new update is scheduled to bring a new map, PANZERSTORM. The new map will mainly focus on heavy artillery, and inspire a difficult combat in a wide open map.

Among other things, a new Single Player War-Story, “The Last Tiger”, will be installed. This will heighten the current one, which allegedly seems like a bit short.

All of this has been empowered by one message, claimed as truthful by the developers. “Battlefield will never be the same” is an ignition for the new chapter, a chapter in which EA games’ for the first time avoid microtransactions, and each consecutive update will come as free. Therefore, Overture is expected to be the first out of many.

But, what about Battlefield V’s Battle Royale?

Now, despite all the coming changes, rewards system and more, every player is mostly interested in the Battle Royale mode, Firestorm, which is scheduled to release in March 2019. According to the game’s current standing in popularity, EA’s only option is to either make it free to play or make the impossible to encourage players to buy it.

Just as a reminder and no further departure of the current title, Battlefield’s Chapter One: Overture is coming on December 4, which is tomorrow.

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
