After a while since E3’s departure, Bethesda has finally discovered what kind of game will Starfield be. While some of the fans believed it would be a multiplayer RPG, it turns out the opposite. Starfield will offer a Single-Player content. It is kind of strange to see Bethesda swimming in these waters since their similar-genre titles are more likely classified as multiplayer rather than just another single player video game.

Not to forget that almost everyone’s first beliefs were that Starfield would be the multiplayer title, and not Fallout 76. Todd Howard has also claimed that Fallout 76 will have a vast PVP potential for the first time in its series. While all of that was debatable, no one would’ve ever believed that Bethesda will begin focusing on Single-Player video games.

In an interview for FZ.se, Pete Hines claimed the following:

“[The announcement] also helps convince folks, like, look, this is not forever-more what we’re doing. We are going to do a game that’s just single-player next time around, and yes, we are going to get to Elder Scrolls 6. There’s going to be a long time before we’re ready to talk about what those are, because we want the time between when we start to talk about it and it comes out to not be two years long or three years long. But it just gives folks a better idea of where we’re headed and understanding what the studio is working on and trying to do. ”

Well, what do you think about all of this? It’s rare to see Bethesda going for a single player title. According to us, be calm, there’s nothing dangerous to panic about.
