The big question about PS4 surrounds PS4 Slim and PS4. There are two PS4 boxes that are offered in 2016, and you would want to buy it as it is just like buying the Pro, but is more powerful than the Slim and is for those who are looking to move into the 4K era.

PS4 Pro

PS4 Pro, with its original codename Neo, is from the new generation.

Making its debut on November 10th, it contains an upgraded graphic unit and a faster processor, allowing it to output games in 4K.While it does not play 4K Blu-ray discs, this is the box to aim for if cutting edge graphics are your thing.

The software that will take full effect will not be released until 2017, but Black Friday ’16 could be your best opportunity to grab this expensive box until this time next year.

The launch cost is $399/£349, and PS4 Pro will be one of the hottest tickets this Black Friday.

PS 4 Slim

PS4 Slim is now the default PS4 box at the launch level of technology.

If you have the PS4 that has been on sale since the console launched in 2014. It is the same thing in a different case. All PS4’s support HDR following a PSN update in September, so it is not worth buying a PS4 Pro this year. The current price is around £230/$300. PS4 will be heavily discounted this Black Friday. So if you want to get a PS4 console as a Christmas present and you are happy waiting until next year for PS4 Pro, then this is the time to do it.

Playstation takes advantage of the Black Friday holiday, so players can take their pick of bargains across the PS4 and Vita, digital and boxed games. You can expect Sony to announce digital game sales across PSN this week before Black Friday, and look for any discounts. Do not expect any massive reductions.

Last year Playstation had the most successful Black Friday in its history, but will this year top the results from last year? It is more likely to go well for Sony this year, as it has a brand new box PS4 Pro this year, as well as the bargain. In addition, the introduction of PS4 Pro may see heavy discounting on the “older” PS4 model. All PS4 models play the same games.
