Attendees will get their chance to show-off like never before! Picking your favorite character, building the right mask and perform well is what you need to do! Of course, we’re talking about a Cosplay contest, so yeah :). However, no matter how simple it sounds, the live performance is what concerns everyone. When you attend a Cosplay event, it’s not just about the character or mask you’re wearing. The live performance and moves have to be exactly close to what you’re character does.

The Sign-up deadline is on July 10, 23:59 CEST, so make sure you sign up now. Speaking about previous Blizzard’s cosplay events, they look really awesome. I honestly think they have the best Cosplay scene and prizes by far. If you sign up for the competition, you just need to make sure you own an entry to Gamescom 2017, Cologne. Competitors must be at age 13 or higher, while Minors under 18 have to possess a parental authorization.

How to sign up?

  • Make sure you send the following details to gamescom@blizzard.com
  • Your name and date of birth (+ name of your legal representative if you are minor)
  • Contact email address
  • Costume name (e.g. Human Rogue, Protoss Stalker)
  • Photo(s) of your costume (smaller than 2MB file size; you can submit a work in progress)

Description of your costume:

  • materials used
  • Height, width and length
  • Any specific details (train, lights, etc.)
  • How long it’s taken to make

If you’re lucky enough, you will be contacted by Blizzard regarding the Cosplay and Dance contests at this year’s Gamescom. Make sure you apply now because there is no room for everyone. The participants will be limited, so not everyone may join the contest. It’s time to make your move and leave the crowd and judges breathless.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, patch notes too. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
