Borderlands 3 Comes to Steam on March 13 with Cross-Play Enabled

Borderlands 3 is scheduled to arrive in Steam on March 13, 2020. It is only a couple of days away from the official release, and the most exciting feature is yet to be revealed. This was announced by 2K Games, and yes, Borderlands 3 and its arrival to Steam will be crowned with a cross-play.

The game is already available to be added to your wishlist so that when the preload becomes available, you will be able to download it and be prepared for the launch. The preloading will be available on March 11, which will make you eligible for playing on March 13.

Now back to the cross-play feature. Powered by SHiFT, players can delve into co-op with the power of Cross-Play between the two biggest digital reseller platforms, Epic Games and Steam. This means that no consoles will be able to participate in the cross-play feature, at least not yet.

Being available to transfer the saved files from Epic Games to Steam and vice versa is something that can be praised for a while. So far, that wasn’t an opportunity, but now, Epic Games and Steam seems to be settling towards the greater good of the players.

Borderlands 3 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Battle Pass that costs $49.99 is just another addition to make DLC content available of playing without any additional cost.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
