Choosing the right Platform For Destiny 2, PC, Xbox or PS?

Back to the most famous thing these days, Destiny 2. What kind of platform are you going to play Destiny 2 on? It seems like the consoles are the favorites, knowing that the PC version is going to come slightly later. That reason will pretty much make the addicted PC players need to catch up on the main story. That’s just not fair, as the PC orientated gamers are already getting mad.

Destiny 2

This is causing an issue because Sony has a deal with Bungie/Activision for Destiny 2’s special content, which is kind of a crazy move from Bungie and Activision. Having a friend who actually plays Destiny on Xbox One, seems like he’ll be getting Destiny 2 on a console again, while I cannot imagine myself playing an FPS shooter game on any console.

It’s just not my thing! Especially when it comes down to “aiming and trying to hit the right hitbox on the NPC or Boss, whoever you’re fighting against. Besides sports, I cannot play anything else on Console as it feels like not enjoyable at all, at least for me.

However, after Destiny 2 comes to live, it will be a fresh beginning for everyone, so you won’t be needed to continue or transfer your old Destiny to Destiny 2. No characters transfer, no nothing, a completely fresh beginning. Bungie has made it very clear that every single Destiny 2 player will begin a new journey. It doesn’t even matter what kind of platform you’re playing on. This is pretty much strict and want it or not, it’s going to happen for sure.

What’s really important and makes me feel awesome is that Blizzard is partnering up with Bungie and Activision, so the PC version of the game is surely going to be amazing! I am an honest fan of lots of Blizzard games, enjoying playing them through the Blizzard Launcher (Battle.net application). This honestly makes me so hyped for Destiny 2, which sadly it will come out later than the console version, which makes me go crazy because as you know, my choice is definitely the PC version.

As I said, it’s just not right for me to play Destiny 2 on Xbox or PS4. I know lots of players that actually enjoy playing shooter games on consoles, but that’s just not me. Even if Bungie make 10 more crazy deals with Sony, I am pretty sure I will stick with the PC version. Knowing that Blizzard will get their hands on Destiny 2’s chat and in-game invitations for building a better community, the Clans in Destiny 2 will get a better chance to communicate between each other before going on a Raid. Voice Chat you say? Yeah, Battle.net launcher offers that too, so it will be very satisfying for sure!

That’s one of the best reasons for me to stick to the PC version, choking out behind the console players who are actually going to be more experienced than us.

So, what kind of platform are you going to choose? Will it be PC, Xbox or PS?

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. 1. PC – precise aiming using a control pad analog stick isn’t intuitive and has such high inaccuracy – anyone who has played an fps on both a console and a PC will know the vast overwhelming difference between a controller and a mouse/keyboard. That said though, I’m lucky enough to have invested in a kick-a** PC – the console is a lot more friendly on the wallet. Pros and cons have to line-up somewhere. Superior version for more money.

  2. If bungie makes a bigger effort to get the PC version out on 9/8 then it’s an easy choice. But if it’s delayed, the PC version will fail.

    1. Without a doubt.

I was stoked on the PC version, now I just feel like it’s an afterthought and might skip it depending on HOW late it is.
