CS: GO Update 02/11/2020 is Available, Patch Notes Released

Valve has released a new update for the classic shooter game, CS: GO. It is a traditional shooter in which most players learn how to aim, even for the very first time of their PC gaming journey. Possibly the most played among the already existing team shooters. The classics never die, indeed. This update, classified as 02/11/2020, tends to fix a couple of small issues regarding communication, but also develop a better gameplay experience.

Fixing issues in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive isn’t every day’s occasion. The developers have provided a complete list of patch notes in which communication and player reports are classified to be different than before. Now, muting a player will also remove his avatar and name, while submitting a report will mute the player automatically.

This tries to meet the communication desire of some players, but also encourage a better and more reliant chat. Similar to Dota 2, which game probably has the most durable player fidelity, CS GO is most likely to be driving the same way Dota 2 had in the past couple of months.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Players who receive significantly more communication abuse reports than others will receive a warning. If they continue to receive significantly more reports they will be muted by default. Other players can unmute them through the scoreboard as usual.
  • Muting a player will now also hide their name and avatar.
  • Reporting a player for abusive communications will now automatically mute them.

MISC

  • Ballistic Shield will now block all melee attacks (knife, axe, fists, etc.)
  • Texture and normal updates to the MAC-10 | Classic Crate to match new MAC-10 UV from Kai123

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
