Cyberpunk 2077: Hefty and Inappropriate For Nintendo Switch

Even if Cyberpunk suffered a delay, fans across the globe are interested in the destiny of Cyberpunk 2077. Among those questions, one of the bigger ones is, will it be coming to the Nintendo Switch platform? Even if the developer is familiar with the inquiries, having a Nintendo Switch version is less likely. CD Projekt Red knows this and has already stated multiple times during their work on Cyberpunk 2077, that the game is quite substantial in size, but also lengthy in gameplay.

With that said, we are not sure if the game would ever arrive on the Nintendo Switch platform. For comparison, everyone takes the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is also a very long game. But if we follow from there, there’s always hope for Cyberpunk 2077 to arrive on the Nintendo Switch platform. Especially now that John Mamais, in an interview with ONMSFT, stated the following

Not as far as I know. I don’t know if Cyberpunk 2077 would work on the Nintendo Switch. It might be too heavy for it. But then, we did put Witcher 3 on it and we thought that would be too heavy too but somehow we pulled it off.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt suffered a lot of graphics tweaks and visual downgrades so that the title could arrive on the Nintendo Switch. For that reason, Cyberpunk 2077 seems entirely ineligible for a device as Nintendo Switch, and even if it does have a chance to join, it will join somewhere later, when all the necessary tweaks are done.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, patch notes too. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
