DayZ’s Australia Ban no more, Ban Lifted after Modification

Survival games can be quite devastating and rough because most of them come in a realistic form as close as possible to the real world. Same happened with DayZ when it faced a ban in Australia because of the drug use, involving marijuana.

Being an offending depiction, it was also a reason why DayZ faced a rigorous ban. Luckily, the Classification Board has decided to lift the ban after a new submission of a modified segment of the previous penalty.

Now, the offending content is removed and can no longer be replicated. Thanks to Kotaku Australia, The modified version of DayZ has now been rated MA15+, which mildly meets the requirements. As a response, the game has become available to purchase in Australia, on Steam.

DayZ can be both cruel but also life worthy for players. It may steal your time but also teach you how to survive in harmful environments. As such, the game is accounted as dangerous by every single Government and other public institutions.
