Death Stranding will have a Emotional Story, Don’t Forget about the Underground NPC

The story of Death Stranding is so well structured that it has recently been compared to a good Netflix series.

In an interview, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, spoke about the story of Death Stranding, saying he could compare it to a good Netflix series. He has played roughly half the game and still thinks anything can happen from moment to moment.

He also spoke about the second half of the game, saying that this part would make players cry. Of course, this doesn’t surprise us, as Hideo Kojima is a master at storytelling, as we’ve seen in Metal Gear games before.

A few days ago, Hideo Kojima himself made it clear that Death Stranding will have a very emotional story, talking about an NPC in the game, who may die as a result of your actions.

We have a character of Death Stranding, who lives underground. He is ill and needs medication. Sam can take these medicines. Since this is happening right at the beginning of history, it is a quest to be done. After that, the player chooses whether to continue to grow old to take medication, send other things, or listen to stories from the past.

However, the player is constantly making progress with the game and necessarily distancing himself from the character. I’m sure there are players who will forget about this NPC and then remember to come back. Since he was not given medication all this time, he would have died at this point.

Death Stranding is coming on November 8 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
