Destiny 2 PS4, Xbox One and PC Servers Going Offline on Friday, New Update 1.0.6 Launches Tomorrow

A new update, 1.0.6, arrives tomorrow on PS4, Xbox One and PC and due to maintenance, Destiny 2’s servers are going down on Friday, November 3, for four hours.

Bungie’s Destiny 2 servers are going offline on November 3, and the maintenance is scheduled for four hours. At 8:00 AM PT the process will begin, and players can’t log into the game. After one hour, at 9:00 AM PT, players who are still in the game, will be returned to the title screen. At 12:00 PM PT, the servers are going back online, and players can download the new update 1.0.6 and continue to play.

The above-mentioned update was announced by the developers a week ago, on October 27, and includes general fixes, updated Mercy Rule settings that allow Mercy to activate slightly later in the match, allowing a wider range of scores to trigger it, also reduces Clash’s score limit to 50, Control’s score limit and influence that enemy-controlled zones exert over the spawning system. In addition, Survival gets fixes as well, with reduced round time, life count, Supremacy, increased score-to-win to 70, and granting one point for defeating an enemy Guardian.

Update 1.0.6 arrives tomorrow on all platforms, followed by server maintenance the next day, on November 3.
