EA and Steam Refresh Their Partnership, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order already available to pre-order

Electronic Arts have decided to join the superior and most popular digital reselling platform of entertainment software, Steam. The refresh of this partnership has already brought an upcoming title available on Steam, but it’s also set to last for a quite more extended period.

Valve will first bring all of their video games to Steam, which is the foundation of digital resellers, with countless video games available in its repository. Alongside that, the user count is merely irresistible, and publishers demand such features.

The first announcement of EA partnering with Steam arrived on Twitter, with both parties confirming the partnership.

According to EA’s official website:

Electronic Arts and Valve have partnered to put EA games into the hands of the players on Steam. Starting next spring, EA Access—our ever-growing subscription service powered by great games and member benefits—will be making its way to Steam. EA Access is the first and only gaming subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform featuring an EA subscription.

The partnership will bring Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is set to launch on November 15, and is already available to pre-order.

The partnership kicks off with Star Wars™Â Jedi: Fallen Order launching on November 15—and available for pre-order today. In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims™ 4 and Unravel Two. Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends™, FIFA 20, and Battlefield™ V—will become available next year, and players on both Origin and Steam will have the ability to play together.

This occurrence is for the greater good of the gaming industry, but also for its fans due to the accessibility. Being everything placed at one spot definitely helps a lot, and with Steam’s social features at hand, it is probably the best move Electronic Arts could’ve ever done.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
