Escape From Tarkov Patch 0.9 adds Scav Bosses

The long-awaited Escape From Tarkov patch 0.9 is now finally available to play, as it was just deployed. This new patch will bring Scav Boss for the first time in EFT’s history. If you’re not familiar with it, a Scav Boss was in the plans during 0.8. The reason, because they are installed in the game, is because players were able to grab gear, for example, the marked room on Customs, players were able to quickly unlock it, snatch the equipment and get out without inputting any extra effort in obtaining the loot.

Therefore, the Scav Bosses first installment happens precisely on the Customs map, inside the dorms, where the marked room is, and at the gas station as well. These Scav Bosses are here to make a change to the gameplay itself, which will further contribute to fairer gameplay. Getting the key among the first people no longer counts and it is not considered as a vital thing.

On the other side, Scav Bosses will wear extra gear on themselves, with a possibility of a Fort armor and some cool guns. Considering the power of the normal Scavs, the Scav Bosses are expected to be quite scary to encounter. It will still be easy for skillful players to encounter the Scav Boss and grab even more gear than what they used to.

Recently, there have been many issues for which Battlestate Games were pushed to make changes, such as the gun glitches that appeared during 0.8, for which the developers were also forced to fix this.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
