This game represents the Magic World online. There is always something new. New cards, spells, and swords, where the heroes fight for the Eternal Throne. Eternal Card Game is a strategy card game where you creations do everything. You can make a deck, mix the cards and explore in order to make new creations.

I have started to play this game on closed beta and just simply love it. I haven’t spend any cent on it, everything that I have achieved is only by playing the game itself.

You get a chance to combine hundreds of card, without any limits. This gives you a flexibility in deck building and all cards are interesting and unique. There are a lot of enemy decks, boss level, and unique card mechanics.

Each game lasts no more than 5 minutes and you are getting rewards every time you win. “Play to Win” not “Pay to Win”, the developers are saying. We all know that many developers are trying to “get” in our pockets, but in this case, that is different.

This says a lot about the game. It has been said that Eternal Card looks like Hearthstone. But, it doesn’t. Therefore, I will tell you what is the difference:

  1. In Eternal, you can interact with your board while it’s your enemy turn. You can choose to interrupt a spell, kill or buff your creatures. On Hearthstone this was not allowed. And Eternal is at a faster pace.
  2. Blockers are assigned by the defender and the game design is inherently friendly.
  3. You have a pile of cards, graveyard, void and discard. You can use one of those cards to bring back to life creatures killed or stolen by your enemy.
  4. The design of the Eternal card is more complicated than in Hearthstone.
  5. Instead of getting a mana pool, like on Hearthstone, on Eternal, you have to use resource card to cast a spell. Or even if you summon creatures. Which is easier to control with two resource cards in your hand.

Those are the main difference in the two games. I got a chance to play more than 100h in the closed beta and got a lot of wins as well. Also, you should try the Draft mode. You will be amazed. Eternal Card will be in Early Access for few months and remains free to play upon the launch. Everything that you have won or own, it will stay further on.
