Red Dead Online is the multiplayer part of Red Dead Redemption 2 which is scheduled to come out after the official Red Dead Online Beta. Having Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption 2 will include a variety of gameplay mechanics dedicated to PVP and PVE too.
