Fire Emblem Heroes just got a fresh update 1.5.0. This update brings two new modes to the Story Maps, Chain Challenge and Squad Assault.

Once you clear Chapter 2 in the Main Story, a new Chain Challenge mode is unlocked. This mode is very similar to Tempest Trials. Your goal is to complete map in a row without losing and if you clear a whole set of maps, then you win. If you are defeated in a half story, you can make a new Heroes group and start from the same map where you were defeated.

Also, with this new mode, you will earn rewards every time you finish a challenge for the first time. You can earn Hero Feathers and Orbs.

The second mode is Squad Assault. Once you clear Chapter 1 in the Main Story the mode is opened.

In this mode, the Heroes are captured by the enemy right after finishing a map. This means they can’t be deployed again. Each stage is with different maps, and finishing them will grant you rewards such as Sacred Seal and Orbs. But be careful, this a brutal mode!

For last, be ready for the upcoming special events from tomorrow July 6 until July 31.

First on the list is Bound Hero Battle. This event starts on July 6 at 12:00 AM PT and ends on July 12 at 11:59 PM PT. Welcome Alm and Celica from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Be prepared for a new type of Hero Battle in the Special Maps with three Lvls of difficulty, Hard, Lunatic and Infernal. Are you up to the challenge?

The next day, on July 7 at 12:00 AM PT until July 20 at 11:59 PM PT join the second Tempest Trials event called Resonating Fangs. Recruit 4 or 5 star Tobin and win Orbs or Sacred Seals.

Until the last day of July, join the Special Hero Summoning Event: Ylissean Summer and try out the new skills of the Special 5 star Heroes.
