Friday 13th New Free Update Brings New Map, Counselor, Jason 4 and 2XP Weekend

We have some news about Friday the 13th. The game has a new patch and it is superb. The update will bring a new map, counselor, Jason and some bug fixed that needed to be done.

The new map is called Jarvis House, as we can see in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Together with the new map, the update will bring a new Jason and a hippy counselor that is called Mitch Floyd. Jason 4 can be unlocked at Lvl 44 and has a meat cleaver-type weapon going by the name Pig Splitter. Mitch has an extremely high level of composure and repair, but is not that lucky. He can be unlocked at Lvl 24.

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th, so Gun Media and Illfonic will give a double XP weekend. The physical editions will be available to purchase for PS4 and Xbox One during the weekend.

On the official site of the game, the plans for moving forward with Friday the 13th have been revealed: “We have learned a lot over the last few months of being live and we have made the decision to move out a few items that were not listed in the road map to ensure we get better testing on the new content and allow time for developers to fix long standing bugs.”

There are some other changes to the game, but we didn’t find them as interesting as these ones. There are a lot of bug fixes with the latest patch and you can find the full list here.
