Groudon is Now Live in Pokemon Go, List of Useful Counters Against this Legendary Pokemon
The Ground Type Pokemon Groudon is now available to battle and catch in Pokemon Go, but only for a limited time as announced on the official Pokemon Go website.
The Legendary Pokemon, Groudon is now live in Pokemon Go available only as a Raid Boss, and will be keeping us company until January 15, 2018, at 1:00 PM PST.
Groudon is a Tier 5 Legendary Raid Boss with 51968 CP and perfect IV 2236 to 2328 (Lvl 20), or 2796 to 2910 w/ Clear weather (Lvl 25). In addition, Groudon’s Base Catch Rate is 2%. Because of his high CP and moveset, this Legendary is very hard to beat, and it’s not possible to be soloed.
Groudon Counters and Best Moveset Against the Legendary Pokemon
- Gyarados – Waterfall/Hydro Pump – most probably the best counter
- Vaporeon – Water Gun/Hydro Pump
- Articuno – Frost Breath/Ice Beam
- Sceptile – Bullet Seed/Leaf Blade
- Exeguttor – Bullet Seed/Solar Beam
- Venusaur – Vine Whip/Solar Beam
- Ho-Oh – Extrasensory/Solar Beam
- Mewtwo – Confusion/Shadow Ball
