According to a recent dev talk video with Guerilla Games, 2021 is the designated year of release of Horizon Forbidden West,

but that’s not all. More info has been discovered regarding the game’s performance and vitality. Combined with the power of the PlayStation 5 and the next-gen technology it offers, Horizon Forbidden West’s performance will be completely independent of the game’s load caused by user actions. According to the developer, the game won’t have loading screens, even if fast-travels were used.

In the video below, you can find the dialog and confirmation of that, including other benefits the game will receive.

Furthermore, Horizon Forbidden West plans to introduce a vast open-world with multiple underwater sections and tribes that are supposed to break the monotony, granting an immersive gameplay experience.

Continuing where I left before feels refreshing. Addicted to the gaming industry, best I do is working on looter-shooters but also express my opinion on a variety of BR video games. Future Game Releases is my new home and I hope it will stay that way.
