Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds Expansion and the Bravest Hunters of the Banuk

Update: A new 10+ minutes gameplay footage has been released of the Horizon Zero Dawn Frozen Wilds expansion, where players can see one the quests in The Survivor.

Original Story: A new expansion is coming to Horizon Zero Dawn next week called The Frozen Wilds. This expansion will add a new environment for the players to explore and will happen in an icy wasteland which is known as “The Cut.” Here, the bravest hunters of the Banuk tribe test themselves against the elements and the machines.

The developers’ target is to create the tribes which would feel quite real, and believable. In the video interview below, the Studio Art Director Jan-Bart van Beek, the Narrative Director John Gonzalez, the Lead Concept Artist Roland IJzermans and also the Lead Writer Ben McCaw are talking about the development of the Banuk tribe. And also, they talk about the ways in which Horizon Zero Dawn is building on the foundations that are put in Horizon Zero Dawn.

They are giving you the opportunity to explore the Cut, and also discover unique cultures of the Banuk tribe. This will be available when the game launches on November 7th.
