Hunt Showdown is free to play during this weekend

If you’re seeking for a game to entertain, or maybe a game that will induce a “spooky fun” through your veins, then you may be on the right place. Hunt Showdown is available for free on Steam during the course of this weekend, and as such, you may discover what the game offers. Being in early access did not allow the game to shine, and it has been like that for quite a long now.

Many people were believing that Hunt Showdown was the next sort of “Battle Royale” full of fun and entertainment, including ourselves. We compared the title to the very best on the market nowadays. Sadly, Hunt Showdown never managed to strap itself to the highest, and as time flew by, it just went worse.

Today’s issue is something different, and it is probably bragging for more users to join the game. Crytek has never disclosed anything about its concurrent player base, nor probably will. However, Hunt Showdown is a truly beautiful game with solid visuals and interesting mechanics. A combination of BR + Survival I’d say, in which Bounty hunting is hardly involved.

With an aim to develop a community-driven game, Crytek is aiming at the right target. If you ask us, Hunt Showdown is definitely worth trying, as it may strangle you out of every day’s BR world. For an Early Access game for quite a long, Crytek should start planning on a full release any time soon.

Starting today and until Monday, Hunt Showdown is available on Steam as a free-to-play title.

Well, what are you waiting for? We promise it’s fun! If you do not like it you can come back and express your frustration in the comments below!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
