The Locking Target Trick in Pokemon Go

There are a lot of videos out there that show how to throw a Poke Ball, what is the best way to catch a Pokemon and what to use to feed the same in order to be easier for the players to catch him.

A Redditor called DaniTerrazas from Bolivia posted an image on TSR which will help the Trainers to lock the target easier and eventually catch it. Like he says “This method does not guarantee in any way that a player will catch the Pokemon, it will only increase the chance of catching it by maximizing the chance of getting excellent throws each time, and reduces to a minimum the waste of balls when the Pokemon attacks or jumps.”

Personally, I’ve tried this and it works great not only with Legendaries but with any Pokemon. Here is everything you need to know, explained step by step:

  1. Long press the ball until the circle gets very small, right into the excellent zone and then release it. Doing this once and the circle will remain like that the entire time.
  2. Wait for the flash.
  3. Then start to spin ball one or two turns.
  4. When the specific Pokemon attacks, make a curveball throw.
  5. Then the Pokemon will return to its place and with a bit of luck, he will be caught.

If this is confusing for you, the Bolivian PoGo Trainer has also made a brilliant piece of “art” which can help you to understand it easier. You can check it out here.
