Marvel Heroes is Closing Down, Disney and Gazillion Have Ended Their Relationship

Gazillion Entertainment’s free-to-play action-RPG which has superheroes and some villains here and there is closing down. This is confirmed by a representative from Disney through an email sent to Polygon.

“We regret to inform our Marvel Heroes fans that we have ended our relationship with Gazillion Entertainment and that the Marvel Heroes games will be shut down. We would like to sincerely thank the players who joined the Marvel Heroes community, and will provide any further updates as they become available.”

Marvel Heroes was released in 2013 on PC. Its original came later, Marvel Heroes 2015. A year later Marvel Heroes 2016 was released, and the current version is named Marvel Heroes Omega. And earlier this year, a PS4 and Xbox One versions of Marvel Heroes Omega was released.

At the middle of October, the developer disconnected completely from social platforms. It is said that Marvel Heroes is similar to the Diablo series. This game was totally overseen by the ex-Blizzard North president David Brevik, who left Gazillion Entertainment in 2016.

Nobody knows when will Marvel Heroes close down. We will update when we will have more information about this decision.
