MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Set For Release In 2018

Mech Warrior 5: Mercenaries is under development by Piranha Games and it’s scheduled to be released in 2018.

Game Story

Star League once ruled the Inner Sphere. But betrayals divided this area into five distinct Successor States. They are also known as Great Houses. The fighting machines, MechWarriors, piloted by elite soldiers and they dominate the wars of future with power that can destroy entire cities.

This will be a single player game, where you will be in a role of a rookie MechWarrior. You can choose PvE ‘Mech combat or carrier based Mercenary campaign. As said by the official site “Victory, prestige, and profit will not only require skill on the battlefield, but in the acquisition, maintenance, and enhancement of your BattleMechs”, 

Piranha Games are dedicated to making MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries to give the players the best gaming experience by using Unreal Engine 4.
