Optic India Player Caught Cheating During eXTREMESLAND LAN Tournament

Team “OpTiC India” was playing against Team “Revolution” in the Group C elimination match of the $100,000 CS: GO competition when the game was inexplicably paused.

The Asian CS: GO news source confirmed that the match had been paused for over 20 minutes before they announced that one of “Team OpTiC” player “forsaken” had been caught with hacks on his PC. Right after the incident, the team was disqualified from the tournament and the CHEATER was sent off.

Shortly after, the organizers found out that “forsaken” has been VAC banned previously and he is listed in liquidpedia’s Counter-Strike wiki as being ‘previously banned’ from ESL competition for ‘owning a VAC banned account.

According to HLTV, “forsaken’s” contract with OpTiC India had been terminated and the team might not join the upcoming Pro League Asia event on October 23:

The player caught with hacks has been released from the organisation, we do not tolerate anything like this.

We want to apologize to all the other teams and organizations involved. It is unfair for everyone involved. We also want to apologize to our country and to the fans who have supported us. This will be a big setback for the country, and it is really unfortunate that one selfish person is capable of causing this.

An official statement will be released soon by the organization, but I want to make it very clear that the other four players had no knowledge of this and would never have agreed to even play if there was even the slightest hint of it.

Here is what happened during the match, ‘step by step.’

Take a look at the cheater in action.

Play fair and stop being a Dushbag! After all, it’s $100.000 we’re talking about, right?
