Pestily, Escape From Tarkov Streamer Reaches 100,000 Viewers on Twitch

Without surprises, notorious Escape From Tarkov streamer, going under the alias Pestily, has managed to gather 100,000 viewers on his channel. This past period Escape From Tarkov, has led to a boom and overtake of multiple known PC video games on Twitch, the most popular streaming platform.

Escape From Tarkov is classified as a tactical first-person shooter, but its survival gameplay mechanics go a long way. As we would love to describe the game, it’s a survival first-person tactical looter-shooter, set up in a war-torn zone called Tarkov. Tarkov has lots of forgotten and valuable remains, in which multiple factions are interested in taking. At this moment, players who are trying to set a foothold are usually victims of never-forgetting encounters, which at the end of the day prescribes Tarkov as an addictive drug.

Now back to the main topic. Battlestate Games, the developer of Escape From Tarkov in cooperation with Twitch, has enabled Twitch Drops. By watching your favorite streamer playing Escape From Tarkov, players have a chance of getting valuable in-game items. Knowing the benefits of having a bountiful inventory, a massive wave of players across the globe have started watching Escape From Tarkov streams.

This has led to a somewhat extraordinary situation, and that is bringing EFT and individuals to noticing a high amount of traffic on Twitch. Among them, as we said, Pestily, who before New Year’s eve has managed to get up to 60-70,000 viewers. Due to the success, Pestily has decided to add a charitable character to the stream and turn each donation a contribution to the Starlight Foundation. Doing it for the kids indeed.

Two days later, Pestily has managed to break the 100,000 viewership number. The reach is documented in the picture below.

Escape From Tarkov is still growing with quite an insane pace. Being escorted by famous streamers such as CohhCarnage, DrDisrespect, and more, it’s quite refreshing to see the game booming to this level!

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, patch notes too. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
