Planet Coaster Is Getting A Free Summer Update 1.3 On June 27

The free summer update is right around the corner! This information was announced today at E3, making its debut to you on June 27, 2017.

This update will be the third major free update to Planet Coaster alongside December’s Winter Update and April’s Spring update and much more smaller updates that will bring new languages, rides, collision toggles.

The new Display Sequencer will let you customize and trigger up to 100 pieces, including animatronics and FX, enabling you to play around with an enormous variety of fireworks that can be choreographed to custom music.

Raise the mood up with Video Billboards! The new panels will let you place your very own textures and videos into your parks. How the billboards work will be explained when the update will go live on June 27, and if any of you do not want to upload anything, you can choose from a selection of pre-recorded videos.

The new Ride Sequencer will give you control over the favorite rides, and you will be able to personalize the wooden coasters even further with painted wooden supports. For the ultimate summer feeling, the developers will be releasing a host of celebratory scenery pieces.

The developers will add three new Scenarios to the Career mode: you can visit Miss Elly’s Diner, you can test the firework skills in the Goldmine Tower, or you can fly through the galaxy in Starship Hangar. And they couldn’t go without expanding the coaster and ride family with eight new members. the Gnarler (modern train on wooden supports), Viper One (multi-launch coaster), Power Up (compact coaster), De-Gen (21st-century train on traditional looping track), and Bolt (modern boomerang coaster) are the five new coasters. Viper One and Power Up have a very special new feature too, dual-direction launch stations.

Related to the rides, the developers got the Iron Claw (classic pendulum ride), Blackout (swinging ship on an inverted loop), and Sky Watcher (observation platform with rotating cabin).
