Bluehole has decided to go with this kind of move because of improving the Leaderboards, but however, it all comes down to the community. Can the players absorb the changes? Tomorrow, August 1st 02:00 UTC, Bluehole will reset Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Leaderboards, as the matches played at this very moment are unranked. It’s going to be a h*** of a ride, as we expect PUBG to hit the highest number of concurrent users in-game, ever.
These resets will keep on happening monthly, only because of a Leaderboard algorithm improvement. However, the rank reset will trigger monthly until the game gets out of an Early Access. Every single PUBG player cannot wait for the reset to occur, so they’ll have a fair chance to improve their rank. Let the Battle Royale begin.
