Pokemon Go Earth Day Event 7,000 Players Goal Reached, Shiny Diglett and Groudon are Coming

Trainers, the Earth Day campaign has ended and as now confirmed by Niantic we’ve reached the 7k task and unlocked shiny Digglet, Groudon as a Raid Boss and 2x Stardust and Candy for event spawns.

Niantic announced the Earth Day campaign on March 26, 2019, and the campaign started on April 13. During the three week campaign, over 14,800 Ingress and Pokemon Go players participated in clean-up events all over the world.

With that being said, we have reached the final goal and unlocked cool bonuses which will end on May 1 at 1:00 PM PDT.

  • If 7,000 players attend and cleanup, global rewards will be: 2x Stardust and Candy for Event Spawns/Groudon in Raids + Shiny Diglett + Increased appearances of Ground-type Pokemon

For last, Groudon’s shiny form will also be released!
