Pokemon Go Gen 4 Pokemon Timeline, Dates Included

Trainers, the very first Gen 4 wave went live on October 16, 2018, bringing 26 new Pokemon and since then we have seen 16 Gen 4 waves.

So far we have seen six big Gen 4 waves and ten smaller ones (events, Legendary Raid Bosses, etc.).

Let’s take a look at the timeline of Gen 4 releases so far:

  1. I think they’re saving the hippos for the GO Event in Chicago. You can see them in the picture advertising the event.
