Pokemon Go Gengar and Nidorino Raid Day Guide, Counters, Moves and More

Trainers, a new Raid Day event is going live on March 1, and for a limited time, players around the globe will have a chance to battle party hats Nidorino, Gengar in two/four-star Raids and catch their shiny forms.

The party hats Nidorino and Gengar Raid Day event is going live on Sunday, March 1, from 2 PM until 5 PM local time zone featuring, shiny party hat Nidorino from two-star Raids, shiny party hat Gengar that know Lick and Psychic moves from four-star Raids and up to five free Raid Passes when you spin Photo Disc at Gyms.

Now, Nidorino is not hard to beat and can be soloed, while Gengar is harder to beat and can’t be soloed. For that matter,  I’ve made a list of Pokemon and moves one should use during the 3-hour Raid Day event.

Nidorino Counters

  • Mewtwo with Confusion/Psystrike
  • Alakazam with Confusion/Psychic
  • Espeon with Confusion/Psychic
  • Azelf with Confusion/Future Sight
  • Latios with Zen Headbutt/Psychic

Gengar Counters

  • Mewtwo with Confusion/Psystrike
  • Latios with Zen Headbutt/Psychic
  • Giratina Origin with Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball
  • Metagross with Zen Headbutt/Psychic
  • Darkrai with Snarl/Dark Pulse
