Pokemon Go Halloween Event 2019 Featuring Darkrai, New Shiny Pokemon and More

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced this year Halloween event and starting from October 17, 2019, at 1 PM PDT until November 1, 2019, at 1 PM PDT, we will have a chance to battle and catch new Raid Bosses, catch new shiny Pokemon and earn new, cool bonuses.

The Halloween event 2019 has been announced and you can find the details below,

Pokemon Go Halloween 2019

  • Start Date – October 17 at 1 PM PDT
  • End Date – November 1 at 1 PM PDT
  • Rescue the following Pokemon from Team Go Rocket: Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Mareep, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Sableye, Trapinch, Cacnea, Shuppet, and Duskull
  • New Avatar items: Zubat bag, Pikachu Onesie, Cubone cap Litwick cap and Mimikyu bag
  • Shiny Yamask
  • Increased spawn rate of the following Pokemon: Gastly, Murkrow, Yamask, Litwick, Golett and more Ghost and Dark Type Pokemon
  • Some Pokemon will be wearing creepy cute Halloween costumes and they will spawn in the wild and raids. In addition, these Pokemon can be shiny! Look forward to Bulbasaur wearing Shedinja costumes, Charmander wearing Cubone costumes, and Squirtle wearing Yamask costumes in raids. In the wild, be on the lookout for Pikachu wearing Mimikyu costumes! If you’re lucky, you might even encounter these alarmingly adorable Pokemon as Shiny Pokemon
  • Darkrai as T5 Raid Boss
  • New Field Research tasks and rewards
  • New Special Research featuring the Forbidden Pokemon (That’s Spiritomb again)
  • 2x Catch Candy
  • 2x Hatch Candy
  • 2x Transfer Candy
