Pokemon Go Jump Start Research Tasks and Rewards

Trainers, a new Jump-Start Research tasks have been discovered in Pokemon Go GM file recently and it looks like the tasks and rewards are now live.

The Jump-Start Research is a 6 stages research and completing the stages will grant you cool rewards, such as XP (a lot of it), Stardust (also a lot of it), Lucky Eggs, Star Pieces, Shiny Pokemon and more.

The Jump-Start Research will be live from June 28 until September 2.

Before going to all Stages, here is what was discovered in the GM file:

Ah, %PLAYERNAME%! Good to see you! There’s a lot to do this summer! New things to experience—new Pokemon to find! Let’s start with a few simple tasks to help you get your bearings.

Wow, is that a Dratini you’ve found? That’s quite a rare Pokemon! I can tell this Dratini has the potential to become a close friend of yours! Why don’t you two take some time to get to know each other?

Impressive! Dragonair is a powerful Pokemon in its own right. Let’s get Dragonair ready to battle! You can try taking on other Trainers or working together to take down huge Raid Bosses!

Nice work! You and your Pokemon make a great team! There are many new kinds of Pokemon that have started appearing recently in the world. You should take a look and see if you can find anything new.

Amazing! You found some rare Pokemon that were first discovered in the Sinnoh region already? And is that…a Shiny Pokemon? Amazing! I’ve never seen an Eevee like that before! Shiny Pokemon have a rare and distinct coloration that sets them apart from others of their species! Let’s commemorate this moment! Why don’t you take a snapshot and celebrate with friends?

• Catch 3 Pokemon with Weather Boost: 5,000 XP
• Hatch an Egg: 5,000 XP
• Rewards: 15,000 Stardust, 2 Lucky Eggs, and Dratini

• Evolve a Dratini: 10,000 XP
• Take a snapshot of Dratini: 30 Dratini candy
• Earn a candy with your buddy: 30 Dratini Candy
• Rewards: 1 Raid Pass, 15,000 Stardust, and 2 Lucky Eggs

• Power up Pokemon 10 times: 15,000 XP
• Battle a Trainer in Great League: 15,000 XP
• Battle in a raid: 15,000 XP
• Rewards: 2 Lucky Eggs, 15,000 XP, and 2 Star Pieces

• Catch 5 different species of Pokemon: Chimchar
• Catch a Legendary from either Breakthrough or Raid: Piplup
• Hatch 3 Eggs: Turtwig
• Rewards: 2 Lucky eggs, Shiny Eevee, 15,000 Stardust

• Take a Snapshot of Eevee: 30,000 XP
• Send 5 Gifts to friends: 30,000 XP
• Trade 3 Pokemon: 30,000 XP
• Rewards: Lapras, 30,000 XP, and 2 Lucky Eggs

• Make a new friend: 60 Dratini Candy
• Win a level 3 or higher Raid: 60 Dratini Candy
• Evolve a Dragonair: 100,000 XP
• Rewards: 2 Lucky Eggs, 100,000 XP, 15,000 Stardust

If you do the math, a player can earn 405,000 XP if the tasks are completed. Now, these tasks are available for Lvl 10 and higher players, which means that Lvl 10 player can easily reach Lvl 23/Lvl 26 if using Lucky Eggs. It looks like they are “giving” away XP at the moment, so take advantage of it!
