Hi I am one of the many with a Samsung s20 that doesn’t play pokemon go any more.
I know there is a fix in a upcoming update, any idea when… ish?

Update: They are investigating reports of increased crashes and freezes when using the app on a Samsung Galaxy S20 device and they will fix it in an upcoming update.
Previous Story: Owners of Galaxy S20, S20+ or S20 Ultra who happen to be Pokemon GO players do not have enough luck. The thing is that the newest version of the game appears to be broken on these new phones. The problem appears to be on Niantic’s side so Samsung can not do much about this problem.
This issue was posted on Samsung’s forum where many, many users complained about the app completely failing when it loads. This problem was tested to see if it was legitimate, and indeed it was.
Keep in mind that the older versions work completely fine on the phones. These problems have been going on for weeks now, at least that is what the users said.
It is up to Niantic to address this bug, and Samsung owners hope that it will be resolved as soon as possible.
