Pokemon Go: Mewtwo Stats Have Been Adjusted and Bellossom’s Buddy Distance is Increased

Dear Trainers, according to the GAME_MASTER(*)file (GM), Mewtwo stats have been adjusted and the buddy distance for Bellossom has been increased recently.

For those who are not familiar what the GM file is, I will explain it: The GAME_MASTER file is a configuration file for Pokemon Go. It’s downloaded from the Pokemon Go servers and saved onto your Android or iPhone device. It’s used to reduce the number of server requests the game needs to make and its values are used virtually everywhere in the game.

The GM file has changed and lowered the attack, defense and base stamina for Mewtwo. The attack speed has changed from 330 to 300, defense stats went from 200 to 182 and base stamina changed from 212 to 193. Also, the Max HP and CP has dropped significantly. See the image below.

The interesting part of this is that every change of GM’s file means that a new Legendary is on its way. So maybe we will be lucky enough to battle and catch Mewtwo after the Japan event or maybe in the next months. Get your Raid teams ready, because this is not going to be an easy Legendary to defeat!

For last, the buddy distance for Bellossom has been increased from 1km to 3km.
